Tricia Jackson joined the staff of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church in January 2000 as
Director of Preschool Ministries in a part-time position. Since coming on staff, God has confirmed her call into ministry and she became full-time in January 2001.
She oversees the Preschool
Shine Time, recruiting and training of teachers, and the VIP's (volunteers in preschool) as well as
Wee-Shine
Weekday Preschool. She also takes care of the Wednesday night Mission Friends for 2 year olds and
AWANA Cubbies for 3 and 4 year olds. Tricia is also responsible for MOPS, a ministry for mothers of preschoolers.
During the summer months, she has several activities for preschoolers and their families
and does a Preschool Summer Day Camp. She loves children and feels very grateful to have the opportunity to serve at Pleasant Garden.
Before joining Pleasant Garden, Tricia was a stay-at-home mom. She is married to Dean
and has two children, Tracy and Chris. While she was a stay-at-home mom, she also had a cake decorating business. During these years, she worked in the preschool
area of church as a volunteer. In her spare time, she enjoys crafts and spending time with her family.
